Special Issue “Comorbidities in Chronic Kidney Disease”

This Special Issue was created in the context of our ITN CaReSyAn.

It aims to provide insights into comorbidities in CKD patients with a main focus on increased cardiovascular risk and summarizes the current knowledge of underlying pathophysiological mechanisms.

Both, ESRs, beneficiaries and associated partners from CaReSyAn as well other international experts in the field contributed to this Special Issue.
